From the very first moments of my stay in Warsaw, I noticed that Ukrainian language could be heard with every step. The sensation was akin to strolling through the streets of Lviv, surrounded by warmth and understanding. This is hardly surprising, as Warsaw is considered the second-largest Ukrainian populated city after Kyiv 😊.
Many of them arrived not only in search of work and opportunities but also due to the horrifying war initiated by Russia against Ukraine.
The war forced many Ukrainians to seek refuge in Poland, with Warsaw becoming their temporary home. This influx of migrants has added even more diversity and cultural richness to the city.
Street Art: Urban Masterpieces
One of the most impressive aspects of my journey was the posters and banners adorning the streets of Warsaw. They resembled vivid paintings on concrete canvases, adding splashes of color to the cityscape. These artworks not only give Warsaw a unique style but also serve as an expression of support for Ukraine in light of Russia’s invasion and the ongoing war.

These displays of solidarity underscore the importance of peace and unity, as well as serve as a reminder to support those affected by the conflict.

A Delicious Polish Adventure
When it comes to Warsaw, it’s impossible not to mention the delectable Polish cuisine. Local restaurants and cafes astonished me with their diversity and authenticity. Fresh ingredients, tender meats, and exquisite sauces impressed even the most discerning gourmand. However, perhaps the most delightful discovery was the fruit beer. This refreshing beverage won my heart with its blend of various fruits and hints of Polish culture. Enjoying it while sitting on a café terrace and observing the city’s life was truly delightful.

Hotel Luxury: Relaxation and Rejuvenation
As for my place of stay, my hotel in Warsaw proved to be a true haven of luxury and relaxation. The hotel offered a wide range of amenities, including a sauna, spa, and swimming pool. After a day spent exploring the sights, returning to this oasis of tranquility was simply unforgettable. I could unwind, take a swim in the pool, and then relax my tired muscles in the sauna. This hotel became the perfect conclusion to each of our days in Warsaw.

Conclusion: A Journey for the Soul and Heart
My journey to Warsaw left me with unforgettable impressions. This city, situated at the crossroads of East and West, combines a unique cultural mix and an inspiring atmosphere. The fusion of Polish and Ukrainian cultures creates a unique and harmonious space that is worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. Warsaw unquestionably invites all of us to observe it, feel its soul, and savor the warm welcome that awaits every traveler.
